Privacy policy

StudyWise ("we", "us") runs thestudywise.com and the StudyWise learning platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• Consultation enquiries. When you request a consultation we collect the student's name, email address, and — where you provide them — phone number, programme, subject, exam session, current and target grades, and anything you write in the notes field.
• Which page you came from. We record which call-to-action on the site you used, so we know which parts of the site are useful.
• Aggregate site analytics. We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which measure page views and loading performance without cookies and without building a profile of you across other websites.

Records we keep once a student enrols

StudyWise works by measuring three things every month, so once a student joins we hold a performance record for them:

• Attendance — classes subscribed against classes actually attended.
• Homework — work set against work actually attempted.
• Assessment results — diagnostic results on joining, monthly paper marks, and test series scores, along with the teacher's notes on which concepts cost marks.

These records exist to teach that student better and to report honestly to their parent or guardian. They are shared with the student's own teacher and the StudyWise staff responsible for their progress, and with the parent or guardian who arranged the classes. They are not shared with schools, and they are not shared with anyone else.

What we do not collect

• We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels on this website.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Ever.
• We do not ask for payment details through this website.

Why we use it

We use your enquiry solely to respond to you: to arrange the consultation call, to work out whether one-to-one classes suit the student, and to follow up about StudyWise teaching. We rely on your consent, given when you tick the box on the form, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry passes through a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf:

• Vercel — hosts this website and runs the form endpoint.
• Resend — delivers the notification email to the StudyWise team.
• Google Workspace — stores enquiries in a private StudyWise spreadsheet.

No one else receives your details.

Students under 18

Many of our students are minors. If you are under 18, please submit the form with a parent or guardian's knowledge. If you believe a child's details were submitted without that consent, email us and we will delete them.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we are in contact with you about StudyWise, and for up to 24 months after our last exchange. After that we delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email hr.studywise@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
